Setup guide
Connect Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365, then get Nektar syncing engagement data for your revenue team — no rep behavior change required.
Before you start
Create an integration user, a Salesforce user account through which Nektar will access your Salesforce data.
Connect to Salesforce
We will send you an invitation link to start the process. Click the link, sign into Salesforce as the integration user you created previously, and allow access.
After sign in, you’re redirected to the Nektar console. The checklist on the bottom-right corner will guide you through the rest of the onboarding. Clicking a checklist item will take you to the part of the console where it can be completed.

I connected the wrong integration user
You may change the integration user by clicking “Disconnect” and connecting again.
Nektar fields creation
This step is not shown if you’re signing up for a read-only trial of Nektar.
Nektar will automatically create some custom fields in your Salesforce organization. No action from you is required.
Something went wrong
Error: Missing permission to create and modify custom fields
Verify that the integration user belongs to a Salesforce profile that has the required permissions, and retry.
Confirm your domain(s)
Enter all email domains that your organization uses, and click “Confirm”. Nektar uses these email domains to identify your team members in emails and meetings.
Mark Salesforce as ready to sync
Click the “Ready to sync” button. Your first Salesforce sync will begin after we verify your settings. Afterwards, you may pause and resume Salesforce sync yourself.
Note that your first Salesforce sync may take up to a few days, depending on the amount of data you have.
Connect to Google
This step is only shown if your organization uses Google Workspace.
Your Google Workspace administrator should have set up domain-wide delegation using the Google Workspace Administration Portal.
Enter the administrator’s email address and click “Check connection”. Learn more

Error: Scope permissions are not correct
Double-check the administrator’s email address, and that domain-wide delegation has been set up with the correct service account ID and scopes.
Connect to MS365
This step is only shown if your organization uses Microsoft 365.
Your Microsoft 365 administrator should install the Nektar app for your organization.
If you are an administrator, click “Connect” and follow the instructions. If not, copy the link and send it to the administrator. Learn more
Confirm your screening rules
Enter rules for screening out emails and events. An activity is screened out if any of its participants matches a blocking rule, or if all its participants match ignore rules.
To screen out internal emails and events, your organization’s domains are automatically added to the ignore list.
Select users to enable Google/MS365 sync
Google and MS365 sync must be separately enabled for each user. Click “Manage sync for individual users” to go to the user management screen.
Click “Existing users” on the top left and switch to the “Discovered users” view. Select users using the check-boxes next to their names and click “Add Nektar users” on the top right.
Switch back to the “Existing users” view, select the users for whom you’d like to enable sync, and click the relevant “Enable” buttons on the top right.

Users are missing from the discovered users view
Return to the Integration settings screen and verify that Google / MS365 user sync has completed.
User appears multiple times in the discovered users view
This happens when a user’s email addresses on Salesforce differs from that on Google / MS365. Click on a user to open the details view and select the Salesforce, Google and/or MS365 user accounts associated with this user, then add them.
Mark Google/MS365 as ready to sync
Click the “Ready to sync” button. Activity sync for your first batch of users will begin after we verify your settings. Afterwards, you may pause and resume sync yourself.
